July Montessori Sensory Kit - Dynamic Dinos
Embark on a Jurassic journey where play meets prehistoric fun!
Your young explorer will shovel through dinosaur “sand” - excavating dinosaurs and hatching a dinosaur egg, and unearthing 4 new letters while using a magnifying glass. Then, your child will create a prehistoric panorama using mossy rocks and leaves and will match dinosaur figurines with attribute cards. Finally, you will read together an action-packed rhyming book, Stomp, Dinosaur, Stomp! Get ready for a roaring good time!

Dinosaur Figurines - 6 dinosaur figurines to stomp and roar their way through the sensory filler (Safari Ltd.®).

Dinosaur Skull Figurines - 2 dinosaur skulls to dig up and dust off the “sand” and “dirt” at your excavation site.
Dinosaur Attribute Cards - Our dinosaur attribute cards pair with the dinosaur figurines to help children compare and contrast the various sizes of different dinosaur body parts. Attributes are fundamental for young children as they lay the groundwork for logical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding mathematical concepts.
Dinosaur Egg - Excavate your own dinosaur to add to your Jurassic world!
Paleontologist tools - The gold shovel, magnifying glass, and brush/chisel all can be used to examine manipulate the items in the kit. All of the tools included promote fine motor development as well as hand-eye coordination.
Sensory Base - Our sensory base is a mixture of whole millet, hulled millet, and dinosaur pasta. Made to mimic sand and dirt, this is the perfect filler to set a pre-historic scene!
Mossy Rocks and Leaves - Make your Jurassic setting come alive with the leaves and mossy rocks.
Letter set - This month’s letter set is c, h, i, and g. Each kit contains two of each letter. Made by our friends at Cureighted Co., these terra cotta letters stand out in our filler beautifully! Use them in tandem with the magnifying glass to work on letter identification and letter sound. Using both sets of letters, you can match them and do a letter hunt!
